COMMUNICATION
Communication Service of “ARMATS” CJSC provides maintenance of technical equipment and wire communication for ATC (Air Traffic Control).
The Communication Service includes:
- radio communication complex,
- cable communication complex.
The main goals of communication service are: organization and implementation of technical maintenance of communication means and channels, provision of high reliability and quality operations, development and improvement of communication network, implementation of the modern technical equipment and progressive maintenance experience.
The following equipment is operated in the radio and cable communication complex:
- VHF receivers T6R "Park Air System" on indicated receiving radio centre.
- Receivers and radio stations of aeronautical telecommunication (transceivers) “Poliot”, “Poliot–1”, “Poliot–2”, “Baclan–RN”.
- Radio Relay Stations “ALCATEL–9400LX”, R–414, R–415, “Complex–M 01”.
- Primary multiplexers “Alcatel 1511”, “Transport 30x4”, "PCM-30".
- Radio stations of technological radio communication KENWOOD, ALINCO, ICOM, YAESU.
- Private automatic branch exchange “Quant – 1024” and PBX “Multicom”.
- Linear – cable mountings of about 150 km of overall extent.
Radio Communication Complex provides:
- Operation of detached receiving radio center (DRRC) and relaying of its channels to ATC stations.
- Radio-relay communication with the aviation repeaters “Mravyan” and “Andranik”.
- Radio-relay communication with “Erebuni” Airport.
- Technological radio communication on three allocated radio networks.
- Repair and technical maintenance of the mobile and technological aviation radio communication devices
Cable Communication Complex provides:
- Interdepartmental telephone link of the companies and the organizations all over the airport.
- Incoming and outgoing links with Yerevan and CIS countries through E1 communication lines.
- Links with “Shirak” Airport through E1 communication line.
- Information exchange of P3D multilateral control system with the centers in “Zvartnots” and “Shirak” airports through the fiber-optic channel.
- Loud-speaking communication of “ARMATS” CJSC facilities, as well as of the facilities of other organizations that are connected with ATC stations.
In 2008 is planning.
- Replacement of RRS R–414 and R–415 with the latest RRS on the directions of “Erebuni” airport, "TRLK" and “Andranik".
- Replacement of VHF communicators on the aviation repeaters "Mravian","Andranik" and "Transmitting Radio Centre".
At present in the Communication Service Department developing a project.
- An organization of OFTL on the sector Yerevan City “Zvartnots” airport.
